Taco Wednesdays: we need a bigger coffee table

Our coffee table is tiny, albeit stylish. Most of the time, this works okay. But taco nights, we need a bigger coffee table as taco fillings spread take up multiple dishes and space.

On the coffee table proper (clockwise from northeast) is corn tortillas, cilantro cashew crema, raw bok choy and cabbage slaw.

On the back of the chair is some spicy chipotle baked seitan Nick made,

and some marinated jicima and homemade salsa, plus our drinks.

All together for a beautiful taco!

Taco Wednesdays have been a great new tradition. The past few weeks I was mixing it up with taco-based foods like flautas, so it was nice to get back to regular tacos - well as “regular” as our tacos get.
